What Is SALSA?

SALSA (Student Adult Leadership Service Alliance) is a unique leadership program founded by The Alliance in 2014. As part of our youth prevention efforts, SALSA brings together students and community adults to promote active civic engagement and shared leadership. By giving both groups an equal voice, the program empowers participants to address key issues such as substance use, mental health disparities, and other challenges facing youth during their transition to adulthood.

Make a Difference Become an Adult Volunteer with SALSA!

Are you ready to get more involved in our community and make a lasting impact? SALSA (Student Adult Leadership Service Alliance) offers a unique opportunity for adult community members to connect with local youth, share their experiences, and work together to create positive change. Volunteers commit just one hour per month to meet with SALSA students at Clear View High School, supporting meaningful dialogue and youth-driven initiatives. All adult volunteers are required to complete a Clear Creek ISD background check prior to participation.

Sponsoring a SALSA meeting is an excellent opportunity for your business

or organization to directly impact the development of youth leaders in

Clear Creek ISD. By sponsoring a meeting, you’ll help provide resources

and support for students and community adults working together to

make a positive difference in their community.

Your sponsorship will cover the costs associated with our meetings, allowing participants to engage in meaningful discussions, leadership development,

and community-focused initiatives. It’s a valuable way to contribute to the growth of future leaders while strengthening your connection with

the local community.
