Established in 2003 through support from SAMHSA’s Drug-Free Communities Grant, the coalition has remained committed to creating an alcohol-, tobacco-, and drug-free future for youth within the Clear Creek ISD community. For over 20 years, The Alliance – Clear Creek has been dedicated to serving, supporting, and inspiring students and families. Guided by its mission, the coalition works to build a healthier, more connected community through collaboration, education, and outreach.
Key initiatives include biannual Medication Take Back events, the distribution of Medication Disposal Pouches, and partnerships with city leaders and law enforcement to promote environmental change. Community outreach efforts such as Undie Sunday, 4th of July celebrations, and National Night Out help foster strong local relationships and raise awareness.
To further expand its impact, the coalition launched the Alliance Clear Creek Advisory Team (ACCAT). Comprised of stakeholders from diverse community sectors, ACCAT plays a vital role
in guiding the coalition’s growth and shaping its
ongoing programs and initiatives.
Clear Creek Coalition meetings will resume in Fall 2025. We are grateful for the continued support of our community partners, and we invite local businesses and organizations to consider sponsoring lunch at one of our 2024–2025 meetings.
Your partnership helps foster meaningful connections and supports our mission of building a healthier, more connected community.

The Alliance is committed to advocacy when it comes to laws impacting our mission. We're looking forward to a new Texas Legislative Session and will keep members abreast of news.
The Ready Set Rescue Program, established by The Alliance in 2025, proudly distributes free Narcan kits to bars, restaurants, hotels, and other establishments throughout Harris and Galveston counties. Narcan is a life-saving medication that can reverse the effects of an opioid overdose—empowering bystanders, staff, and families to act quickly in critical moments.
The Alliance hosts community events that provide fun, challenging and structured activities to give youth and adults healthy ways to enjoy free time and learn skills! Family Game nights and Team Trivia are just 2 of our popular events!
