The Alliance is currently travelling the roads in the community recording retailers that sell e-cigarettes and other vape products.
Once we have the locations, we'll compare them in proximity to schools and churches. We'll also begin retailer education.
InDepth
Alliance staff are now certified to provide the American Lung Association's InDepth program as an alternative to citation or suspension. This 4 session curriculum is designed to help teens understand the dangers of e-cigarettes and to identify alternative coping skills. To find out more information, please contact the Alliance.
87th Texas Legislative Session
The Alliance realizes that legislation, ordinance change, and other environmental measures are the most powerful actions to change the tide in substance abuse prevention. In order to keep our members abreast of what's happening in the legislative sessions, the Alliance is providing regular Legislative Briefings with information on the bills that pertain to e-cigarettes.
